Introduction to Barbering €1600

This course is suitable for beginners, newly qualified hairdressers or for anyone with no experience or limited experience in barbering. You will learn the foundations of cutting men's hair, sectioning, scissors over comb techniques and precision clipper work. This course is designed to allow you to understand what is required to become a barber. It would be recommended that you follow up with a diploma course with our Academy. 3 DAY Course

This course is suitable for qualified hairdressers and barbers with 1-2 years or more experience. This 3 day Classic and Era cuts barbering course is designed to help build barbering confidence, precision tapering and fading, better consultations with your clients and cover key areas in barbering and focusing on common errors made in barbering today and how to break poor habits. 

Diploma in Barbering –  Approved

The Barber Academy Course will run 2 days a week, Monday / Tuesday or Wednesday / Thursday from 10am to 4pm with an optional bonus of six weeks work experience in one of our Chapz Barbers shops which could lead to possible employment.

Cost: is €3300 with a €200 discount for early booking. Equipment worth €300 provided and level 2 Certificate bringing all students to the level of junior barber.

Full time course September 5th to December 16th. (9.30AM-5.00PM) Running for 16 weeks.


Proficiency in Barbering for Qualified Hair Dressers

12 Week Course available Every Monday and Wednesday between 6:30pm and 9pm. Price is €2300 including equipment worth 300euro and level 2 certificate.

COURSE INTRODUCTION AND INFORMATION The Barber Academy School of Barbering provide an introduction to barbering is a Level 2 accredited course and recognised worldwide. This is the equivalent to the Level 4 NFQ award. It is a beginners’ course for participants of all ages who would like to enter the barbering industry.
